Bürkert’s new range of products for 2017

The extensive range of successful Bürkert products keeps on growing year on year. After a successful 2016, it was inevitable that there would be more Bürkert breakthroughs in 2017 for us to get excited about. In this blog, we take a more in-depth look at the latest additions to the Bürkert valve catalogue for 2017 – all of which are available from BM Engineering.

Bürkert Electromotive Valves – Type 3320 & Type 3321

Bürkert has added two new electromotive process valves to their extensive product range. The Type 3320 and Type 3321 Bürkert Electromotive Valves are two shut-off valves that are setting new standards in the industry with their performance, reliability and cost-effectiveness. All of these benefits make these electromotive valves perfect for applications without a need for a compressed air supply. These new valves have the advantage of being able to switch systems entirely to electromotive actuators and have a low energy cost.

Features and Benefits

  • Mechanical position indicator with a 360° LED.
  • FDA compliant.
  • Rapid flow shut off.
  • Weather and impact resistant design.
  • Designed according to hygienic demands.

Bürkert Angle Seat Valve – Type 2060

Bürkert’s new angle seat valve, Type 2060, is a pneumatically operated single seat valve that comes equipped with stainless steel actuators to suit the demands of the toughest process environments. Some of the features of this angle seat valve include the self-adjusting spindle packing with V-seals, which provides unrivalled cycle life and sealing integrity. The valve also has a ducted exhaust air port, which allows for environment isolation.

Features and Benefits

  • Trusted inner parts for long cycle life.
  • Flow optimised stainless steel bodies with various port connections.
  • Actuator in stainless steel for demanding environments.
  • Large accessory program with stroke limitation and feedback.

Bürkert Redundancy Valve Block – Type MKRS

The type MKRS from Bürkert is a new valve block for safety related shut-off functions. This valve block extended the multiple usabilities of both the valve island type 8640 as well as the automation system type 8644. Another advantage of this block is its ability to be combined with solenoid valve types 6524 and 6525, allowing for a redundancy valve function to be installed.

Features and Benefits

  • Redundancy functions possible.
  • Pressure switch included.
  • DIN-rail mounting.

Hydroformed Tube Body Diaphragm Valves

Bürkert has strengthened its product line of diaphragm valves with the introduction of their new tube valve body. The new housings are manufactured from high-quality stainless steel tubing making them one of the most exciting tube valve bodies on the market, as a lighter, cleaner, greener, more economical hydroformed tube diaphragm valve. Some other advantages of the tubing include EHEDG certification, high stability, ideal surface quality and hydroforming technology. Having been manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, this tubing allows for tube-to-tube welding of virtually identical materials, ensuring a uniformly high quality of weld seams.

Features and Benefits

  • Light weight design
  • Sustainable design
  • Can be used with EPDM or PTFE diaphragms
